Americans for Prosperity's President interviewed

Our chirpy Rachel in fine form last night
Rachel Maddow debated Tim Phillips President of Americans for Prosperity. (You know, the same folks who were applauding when the US lost the Olympics in Chicago) She confronted him about the nature of the corporate backing of his campaign and he defended it.
At one point, when Rachel questioned him about the ads they ran against an amputee veteran who lost his legs and they were calling him a traitor. She did get very hot under the collar and even called him a “parasite”. And he tried to get out of it by saying that that ad was misconstrued because they were referring to the candidate stand on “the war on terror”.
It was so clear that these purveyors of lies and unpatriotic schemes was caught with his pants down that he defended his position accusing Rachel of being the same for doing what she does. That is so absurd…Rachel is a television personality and does not hide behind any of the views she puts across in her show. She takes full responsibility for what she says and not one corporation is paying her to say what she does.
This guy on the other hand, does not at the outset tell you that a certain ad is paid for by Coke for example, and he goes on and makes absurd accusations and lies.
Kudos to you Rachel.
