Rachel Maddow in great form last night.
Rather than rehashing what was said on the show, and if you are reading this blog you probably watched it anyhow, I will just say this: This guy Rick Berman was on last night. He is a lobbyist that has gained notoriety by claiming trans-fats and mercury in fish is not really
bad for you. In any case, Rachel grilled him last night and he came out looking like shit. But the thing I find disturbing is that this guy knows he is getting paid by all these companies to do public relations that will disseminate lies and he still comes on her show and has the audacity to defend his position. He has to be the biggest scumbag in Washington. Then at the end of the show, there was a small segment that really floored me. The fucking Bible pushers are now “revising” the Bible to make it more palatable for right-wing, ultra conservative douche bags. As if it wasn’t already bad enough that the Bible, which is a fabricated document, one that has suffered through the centuries from being changed at the whims of Constantine, the scribes, the clergy and whoever else didn’t find it useful to their obtuse purposes, now is being changed again, this time to reflect a more “right wing” point of view.
