I am not much of a prognosticator; I have been wrong so many times I hate to go out on a limb now. But I am seeing some kind of outcome here that few people have been able to visualize. The outcome of all this fight about Health Care reform may have just the more bizarre result.
It is simply this: If a real meaningful legislation is passed which includes a strong Public Option, then you are going to see an astounding rejection by the general public of private health insurance. Why are they going to do this? If I am right, they are going to do it for two reasons: One, to punish the insurance industry for sticking it to them all these years, two: the amount of resentment that the insurance industry has generated has made many Americans realize that they would much rather pay somebody else the premiums than to have their money go to pay for exorbitant profits and obscene salaries and bonuses. Even if some of that money goes to waste in the form of bureaucracy ineptitude and we all know that to be true of all autocracies, it is going to be significantly less than paying for the outrageous profits the Insurance Companies are making.
As I wrote yesterday, this debate is coming to a close. The Republicans, who never really had
a viable alternative, have been too busy smearing and lying to actually think of any good ideas or any kind of meaningful reform. They are so out of touch with reality that they have gone the extra mile to cultivate that fringe element of their party. What we ultimately have seen is that 45,000 Americans die every month because they have no health insurance. This number is convincing a lot more people now because it has become a matter of life and death.
Republicans may want to benefit the insurance companies by trying to maintain things as they are, but the American people have indicated by all estimates (77%) that they want Health Care reform and one that includes a Public Option. The “Teabaggers” may scream on top of their lungs their vitriolic message but it is not resonating with the general public.
And the Insurance Lobby is correct in assuming that the companies they represent will suffer from competition and be driven out of business, not because a Public Option is less expensive
but because the general public is so fed up with them that they want to put them out of the picture. The most important thing that needs to be said by our President is that this is a matter of life and death and that the Insurance Companies are not entitled to make an obscene profit out of people’s misery, that is IMMORAL and indicate that he doesn’t just favor a PUBLIC OPTION but he passionately advocates it.

We have to give a hand to those who have had to declare bankruptcy because of high medical bills.
I am now going to tell you why I think that some legislation is in order to "undo" the unfair and cruel designation of "poor credit risk" to those who by no fault of their own, just because they got sick and accumulated insurmountable hospital and doctor bills, lost their homes, their credit and their dignity.
Don't you think that people, who are not "deadbeats" and were caught up by a broken Health Care System, should be penalized for the greed of the Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies?
We as a nation bailed out some very unsavory characters in Wall Street, the banks and Insurance Companies so they could get their bonuses and obscene severance packages and continue to live in The Hamptons. Couldn't we do something about regular folks who saw all their life savings decimated and if they got sick were thrown out of their homes?
I lost my job in 2006 and because of my age, I have not been able to find employment. I was not one of those who frittered my money away, I saved and saved and up until now my credit is intact. But my COBRA ran out and I can't get insurance because of a pre-existing condition. Should I get sick, I will have to lose everything I have and will be living with my 94 year old mother under a bridge out of a cardboard box.
The legislators could figure it out, the details and who would qualify. I should think that if you presented them with the medical bills and proof of your income, bank statements, and the other important stuff you should be able to force the three credit reporting agencies to expunge your bad entries.
CRITERIA FOR EXPUNGING BAD CREDIT RATINGS DUE TO HEALTH PROBLEMS
1-If your situation is directly related to a major illness that caused you to either lose income
or acquire insurmountable debt.2-If you present a review panel the evidence that up until the time of your illness your credit rating was good. (Bank statements, credit ratings, medical bills that coincide chronologically)
This I think would help millions of people get back on track. It is absolutely unfair to have anyone wait seven years to get credit because the Insurance Companies are greedy and our Health Care system is broken.

HERE WE GO AGAIN…IT IS A BATTLEGROUND IN MAINE OVER GAY
MARRIAGEThis is a rerun of the campaign to repeal gay marriage that took place in California (Proposition 8) now the fucking assholes are at it again. When is it going to be clear that the majority may rule but the minority has rights?
The rights of gay people to enter into a union that is now recognized and has been signed into law by the Governor of Maine is now being challenged by the ultra-right, those same Evangelicals and Mormon sons of bitches that took away the rights of California.
"For Californians, especially for the (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community in California, Question 1 is the very bitter reenactment of Prop. 8," said Yann Jouvenot, a married gay man and a member of the Solano County chapter of the Courage Campaign.

Tons of money was invested in their efforts and most of it came from religious organizations like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) who think that because there is a steeple on top of those monuments for ignorance and superstition they call their churches, they are tax exempt and can freely get involved in politics without being held accountable. LISTEN ASSHOLES, THERE IS A SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IN THIS COUNTRY, THIS IS NOT A FUCKING THEOCRACY, GET THAT THROUGH YOUR GOD DAM SKULLS!

AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE THE CULTURE WARS ALL OVER AGAIN. To those who cite Biblical passages to oppose same sex marriage, let me say this to them: The Scriptures are filled contradictions and ambiguities; in the Old Testament we have a wrathful God, revengeful, without mercy; in the New Testament we have his son who is full
of love and kindness. The Bible is filled with passages recounting violence, murder, incest, rape, adultery, fratricide, infanticide, pedophilia and slavery. Does that mean that it is acceptable to engage in any of these?PHOTO SOURCE: http://www.itiswrittenoceania.tv/images/bibleInfo003.jpg
