Those of you who follow my blog and have blogs of your own, probably would understand what I am about to discuss. I follow a lot of blogs, perhaps too many. It usually takes me a day and a half to go through the list of blogs I am interested in and new ones keep appearing at intervals.
When you think that I have not visited your blog it is because I may not have gotten to it yet or I may have seen it and perused and didn’t make a comment. I usually make comments since I am so opinionated and have a lot to say. It is hard to keep me quiet.
I often get asked to reciprocate with links and to list other blogs. The reason I don’t do it is because I am a total failure at setting up pages and inserting these “gadgets”. I am for all purposes a total ignoramus in dealing with computers. I think that you can probably understand that a person my age is not likely to be as computer savvy as one twenty years younger. Computers are all a mystery and new to me while they may be mundane and normal to most people.
I don’t know if other bloggers have experienced this but I find that when I post a story for example then place the pictures and I hit “preview” I find that there are all kinds of anomalies. There are pictures overlapping other pictures, blocks of type out of sequence and overlapping photos, in essence, the program seems to be lacking a certain consistency. Then I publish it and it looks completely different than what the preview had shown. That was one of the motivations to change my format. I decided to work with it rather than against it.
