Democracy? What democracy?

America doesn’t deserve a DEMOCRACY

The disappointing loss in Massachusetts of a seat that was held by Senator Ted Kennedy since anyone can remember went to the Republicans. Yes, you can gloat, you fucking sons of bitches. But one thing comes clear out of all of this: Rove should be very proud of himself today and so is Cheney and the other pundits who have fed the ignorant public so many lies and made them believe that the frustrations they now are feeling is a result of the Democrats’ actions.

Wake up America! You are in need of collective psychiatric counseling. You are suffering from a recession, unemployment, a failed bank system, lack of health care and paying trillions of dollars for an unnecessary war and it is all the result of Bush’s policies and the Republican’s ideology. How could you America? How could you forget so soon? How could you vote for the very people who gave you all this?

Republicans screwed you without Vaseline and you turn around and give them your votes. What are you thinking? Are you even living in the same planet as the rest of us?

Don’t you realize that we already live under a SOCIALIST system? That it is a real and palpable welfare system for the rich and powerful at the expense of the poor and the middle class. Don’t you see that REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH has already taken place? It has gone from the poor and the middle class to the very rich and the corporations.

Don’t you also see that you have lost the concept of DEMOCRACY? (FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE in case you have forgotten that) You have empowered the LOBBYISTS, FOR THE LOBBYISTS AND BY THE LOBBYISTS. If you don’t see that, then you do deserve somebody worse than George W. Bush as President…perhaps Sarah Palin might be available when she is through getting rich…or maybe even Rush Limbaugh might grace the Republican ticket with his appearance in the number one spot.

  2. I'm hearing news reports that Ms. Coakley didn't get out and do something as radical as actively campaign for Ted's seat. While I'm disappointed that the Republican won our side has to actually get out and do the work.

Now, if the Dem's in the Senate will grow a set they can still salvage the situation because it's not like they've lost the majority control. (Maybe should reconsider the "nuclear option?")
