HEY MR. 1%, WOULD IT BE TOO MUCH TO ASK THAT INSTEAD OF MAKING 32 MILLION YOU COULD MAKE 22 AND KEEP 1,000 PEOPLE WORKING?
And would you be willing to pay your share of taxes to pay for the unemployment you caused?
Is it too much to ask of the Wall Street speculator, the big bank CEO or those who inherit their money to forgo that third mansion in the Hamptons so that a factory they own is not closed and shipped abroad?
I know, it is so easy to surrender to greed…it is addictive, it is a drug and this is what drives the engine of the Republican Party.
No, it is not envy. We are very joyous that you are wealthy, we celebrate your good fortune and are gladdened by the fact that at least there are some who actually make it. But to forgive you for obtaining the wealth on the back of the rest of us is a bit of a stretch.
We are doubly insulted when you refuse to see that you should pay at the very least the same rates we working stiffs pay. But to use every loophole, every trick in the book to get out from under your tax obligation is absolutely immoral.
