And would you be willing to pay your share of taxes to pay for
the unemployment you caused?
Is it too much to ask of the Wall Street speculator, the big
bank CEO or those who inherit their money to forgo that third mansion in the
Hamptons so that a factory they own is not closed and shipped abroad?
I know, it is so easy to surrender to
greed…it is addictive, it is a drug and this is what drives the engine of the
Republican Party.
No, it is not envy. We are very joyous that you are wealthy,
we celebrate your good fortune and are gladdened by the fact that at least
there are some who actually make it. But to forgive you for obtaining the
wealth on the back of the rest of us is a bit of a stretch.
We are doubly insulted when you refuse to see that you
should pay at the very least the same rates we working stiffs pay. But to use
every loophole, every trick in the book to get out from under your tax
obligation is absolutely immoral.
