I don’t really see the need to kneel, prostate yourself in front of an altar or facing a geographical location 20 times a day to show your unquestioned dedication and faith. You could just as well hang from a chandelier while worshiping little green unicorns from Tasmania for all I care.

It is one of the great ironies of our world today that the very same headscarf revered as a sign of 'holiness' when worn by Catholic Nuns, is reviled as a sign of 'oppression' when worn for the purpose of modesty and protection by Muslim women.
