This omission does not mean he approved, nor does it mean he disapproved same sex love relationships.

This blog does contain adult and gay material. If you are under your country's legal age (18 or 21), do not scroll down and leave this page now.

Like many of you, I am fucking fed up with Evangelicals, with miracles, with sin and with speculation about how Jesus stood on the issue of homosexuality.

“If you were to read all four gospels thoroughly in search of Jesus’ teachings on homosexuality it would be a futile endeavor. Not only would you come to the end of the gospels without finding anything attributed to Jesus on the subject, you wouldn’t even find a single reference to the issue in any context.

In fact, there are only a handful of references to homosexuality in the entire Bible, but they are found in the Old Testament and Paul’s writings. (To put it in perspective, while there are only seven references to homosexuality, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of references to economic justice and the laws governing the accumulation and distribution of wealth.)”

A very interesting and enlightening comment from the same blog was written by Marc Herlands:
Jesus talked a lot about sexuality. But, he did not mention homosexuality. And since, He said that He revealed what God told Him, it's pretty clear that homosexuality is not a priority. Second, Jesus talked a lot about loving men loving other men. In fact, He made it a Commandment. See His speech at the Last Supper. Now, Love can be non-sexual. But not necessarily. Third, He warned about taking the Bible out of context and literally. Specifically, when accused of breaking the Commandment because He healed on the Sabbath, He said that the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Clearly, He was saying that the laws are to be interpreted in the Spirit of Godliness and not be taken literally. Fourth, he healed the Centurion's male lover and servant/slave. He did not condemn him. Nor chastise them. In fact, He praised him. Fifth, He was aware that marriage was for heterosexuals, but he did not condemn "eunuchs who were born that way". That's code for homosexuals. Sixth, we do not choose our sexuality. It is inherent.”

My suggestion to homophobic Evangelicals is: SHUT THE FUCK UP. We are no longer allowing you to insult us, humiliate us, discriminate against us or even allow you to open your fucking mouths to spew your hatred.

  1. my dear friend, I am honored to know you and don't care who you love. The pursuit of happiness is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence along with life and liberty as being unalienable rights granted by the creator and governments were created to protect them. No man is in a position to judge another. Those who try are wrong. Be proud of who you are, I am proud to know you. your friend, the rat
